Get the IP address of the router
Consult the user manual of t he router.•
Or, to check for the settings of the r outer, •
enter the IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.1) in
the web browser (e.g. Inter net Explorer)
of the computer, and then, get th e
desired information i n the setup page.
Assign the IP address manua lly
On the • MCi900, enter an IP addr ess that
allows the unit to be in the sam e subnet
as the router.
For example, if the rout er has
IP address: 192.168.1.1, Subnet mask:
255.255.255.0 00;
Then, enter the followin g on the unit:
IP address: 192.168.1.XX (where X X
denotes a number), Subnet ma sk:
255.255.255.00 0.

Stop getting Auto IP
1 Use an Ethernet cabl e to connect the unit
to the router.
2 On the unit, select [ Wired (Ethernet)].
3 Press BACK on the re mote control to
stop getting auto IP.
