USING THE AUDIO/VIDEO (MONITOR) OUTPUT JACKS

The Audio/Video (Monitor) Output jacks are great for recording with a VCR or for

use with an external audio system.

For an external audio system, con-

1 nect audio cables to the R(ight) and L(eft) AUDIO (Monitor Out) jacks on the TV and to the Right and Left audio input jacks on your amplifier or sound system. Set the audio system’s volume to a normal listening level.

2 Turn on the TV and the audio sys- tem. You can hear TV sound at the

To connect a second VCR for recording:

3 Connect one end of the yellow Video cable to the TV’s Monitor Out VIDEO jack. Connect the other end of the cable to the VIDEO IN jack on the sec- ond VCR.
