SETTING THE INCREDIBLE SURROUND CONTROL
he Incredible Surround feature
Tadds greater depth and dimension to
both monaural (MONO) and stereo TV
sound. With the control turned ON the
TV's speakers can add even wider
sound separation to normal broadcasts.
Press the MENU button on the	Main
	Picture	Brightness	Main
remote to display the on-screen menu.	Sound	Color
			Picture	Treble
	Features	Picture
Press the CURSOR UP ▶ or CUR-			Sound	Bass
	Install	Sharpness
SOR DOWN ■ button until the word		Tint	Features	Balance
SOUND is highlighted.		More...	Install	AVL
Press the CURSOR RIGHT ▶▶				Incr. Surround
				More...
button to display the SOUND menu
features.
Press the CURSOR UP ▶ or
CURSOR DOWN ■ button to scroll
the Sound menu features until the			Sound	50
words INCR. SURROUND are high-			Treble
lighted.			Bass
Press the CURSOR RIGHT ▶▶		4	Balance
			AVL
button to set the Incredible Surround	1	2	Incr. Surround
control as follows:		6	SAP
MONO: When in the Mono Sound
Mode, Incredible Surround can be set
to Mono or Spatial.
STEREO: When in the Stereo Sound		3	Sound
Mode, Incredible Surround can be set
to Stereo or Incredible Surround.		5	Treble
When finished, press the STATUS	2		Bass
			Balance
/EXIT button to remove the menu	4		AVL
from the TV’s screen.			Incr. Surround	Spatial
			SAP
SMART HELP			OR (if in Stereo)
NOTE: If the TV signal is
being received from a mono			Sound
source, pressing the INCR. SURR. but-			Treble
ton will cause either MONO or SPA-			Bass
TIAL to appear on the the screen. If the			Balance
TV signal is being received from a			AVL
			Incr. Surround	Incr. Surround
stereo source and the “Sound” control
			SAP
is set to Stereo, pressing the INCR.
SURR. button will toggle two choices:
STEREO and INCR. SURROUND.
SPATIAL – widens the “Mono” sound,
simulating a broader, fuller sound.
INCR. SURROUND – widens the
“Stereo” sound, simulating a broader,
fuller sound.
