Introduction

This recorder has a built-in hard disk
drive (HDD), you can record up to 270
hours of video in SEP (Super Extended
Play) record quality mode.
With both recordable DVD and high
capacity HDD in the same recorder, you
have the  exibility to keep recordings on
the HDD or copy to a recordable DVD
for safekeeping or later viewing.
Furthermore, you can take advantage of
features like ‘Instant Replay’, or ‘Pause
Live TV’, see “Control TV programs”:
“Pause live TV function” and “Instant
Replay Function” for more
information.
Before you can start using this recorder,
complete the basic connections and
set-up in the following easy steps as
needed.

Region codes

DVDs must be labeled as shown below in
order to play on this DVD
recordable system. You cannot
play discs that are labeled for
other regions.
Helpful Hints:
– If you are having trouble playing
a certain disc, remove the disc and try a
different one. Improper formatted disc will
not play on this DVD Player.
