Remote Control (continued)

– Returns to the previous menu of a video
CD (VCD) or some DVDs.

– Adjust the volume level.

– Plays a disc.

– Stops playback/recording.
– Holding down the button will open and

– Skips to previous or next Chapter/Track.

– Starts recording the current TV channel
or the current video input source.

– While in tuner mode, selects the next/
previous TV channel.
v TIMER
– Enters/exits the timer recording menu.
w MUTE
– Disables or enables sound output.
x DVD REC
– Activates the ‘direct recording to DVD’
mode.
y PAUSE
– Pauses the playback or recording.
– Pauses ‘Live TV’ viewing.
z Numeric keypad
– Selects a chapter/track number to play.
– Selects the recorder’s preset TV tuner
channel.
wj SELECT
– Selects a track/chapter/ le in the program
menu.
– In HDD title menu, marks titles for
copying to a DVD recordable disc.
wk REPEAT
– Select to repeat title playback in HDD
mode.
– Select to repeat playback of title, chapter,
track or disc in DVD mode.
wl SHUFFLE
– Switches to random playback of an audio
CD, Video CD (VCD), picture CD or
DVD disc.
– In HDD title menu, select to sort the titles.
e; DSC
– Selects different types of preset sound
equalizer settings: CLASSIC, JAZZ,
ROCK or POP.
ea SUBTITLE
– Selects a subtitle language.
es ZOOM
– Enlarges a picture on the TV screen.
Notes for remote control:
- You have to press TV TUNER before
selecting the CAM/EXT source. To
switch to another source from CAM/
EXT, please press the corresponding
source button twice.
- On completion of the timer recording
operation, you may select the DV
source by pressing either CAM/EXT
repeatedly or DV directly.
