Helpful Hints

If the power fails, the VCR keeps your timer recordings. However, the time and channel settings and other menu settings may be lost if the power fails for more than three min- utes. When the power is restored, the following will occur:

The VCR will automatically restore the clock and channel settings. Auto will flash on the display panel. When the time and channel settings are restored, the current time will appear on the display panel.

After the clock and channel settings are restored, each timer recording you have set will occur as pro- grammed, unless the recording was to occur during the power outage.
