Security Programming

The units should now be connected to the telephone. Once steps 1-5 have been completed in the installation sequence above, you can now set the security, programming the base unit to the extension unit.

Follow the easy steps below to set the security feature for the units.

1.Using a small pointed object, press the black recessed button on the side of the base unit. The green light on the front of the base unit will come on. This will stay lit during the security programming sequence.

2.Now, using the same small pointed object, press the black recessed button on the side of the extension unit. The green light on the front of the

extension unit will flash once. This is your notification that the security programming for this extension is complete.

To program additional

extensions to the same base, repeat

step 2 with the additional extensions. This programming sequence allows five minutes since the last unit was programmed, to program the next unit.

Note: If the green light is flashing repeatedly, your base unit is not in programming mode. You will need to return to step one and repeat the steps.

3.Once all extensions have been programmed, you will need to verify the dial tone for each phone. This can easily be completed by picking up the handset and listening for dial tone.
