When Using the Navigation Sys- tem for the First Time

The navigation system cannot detect the location correctly if the initial learning is not complete. The correct positioning can be attained after driv- ing a certain distance. (The AV source can be used normally regardless of the initial learning status.)

When the vehicle starts to run, the 3D Hybrid Sensor’s initial learning automatically starts. Until the 3D Hybrid Sensor’s initial learning is complete, the positioning is performed by GPS satellites so the location of your vehicle may not be very accurate. This is not an error. When the initial learning is complete, the location of your vehicle can be detected with high accuracy.

When an error message appears during the initial learning, refer to “Messages and How to React to Them” in the operation manual.

Two external units can be con- trolled by this navigation system. When two external units are connected, the navigation system allocates them to external unit 1 or external unit 2.
