The key lock switches ON / OFF

Explanation : The command enables/disables the remote control and access through the front panel. The default value is 0 (OFF) thus the player is unlocked.

If the key lock switch is set to 1, all buttons (front panel and remote control) including the external switch control, mouse control and power control are disabled. Use this setting for a PC-controlled player to lessen interference from outside sources such as remote controls.

If the key lock switch is set to 2, only the tray open button/key is disabled and the OP command no longer controls the tray. Thus, after powering OFF the player, the locked tray protects the disc from unauthorized personnel.
