In het kort

Zodra u de batterijen in de afstandsbediening hebt geplaatst, kunt u met de SBC RU885 de meeste TV's, videorecorders, DVD-spelers en versterkers van Philips bedienen. Kies met de bronkeuzetoetsen (wordt later behandeld) het Philips-apparaat dat u wilt bedienen. Wilt u een apparaat van een ander merk bedienen, dan moet u dat eerst in de SBC RU885 programmeren. Zie hoofdstuk 1, 'Instellen'.

De SBC RU885 heeft acht standen, voor het bedienen van acht verschillende apparaten. De standaard ingestelde apparaten zijn TV,VCR (videorecorder), DVD en AMP (versterker).Voor de overige 4 standen kunt u uit 18 apparaten kiezen.Vanuit de bibliotheek kunt u elke gewenste combinatie van acht apparaten samenstellen door apparaten toe te voegen of te verwijderen. Op het display ziet u welk apparaat u op dat moment hebt gekozen. Met de bronkeuzetoetsen kunt u naar een ander apparaat gaan. Met de programmeerbare SMART CONTROLS kunt u aan een geïnstalleerd apparaat bedieningsfuncties toevoegen.

In de stand HOME CINEMA kunt u de belangrijkste functies voor TV, DVD en versterker bedienen. Druk direct op de CINEMA-toets als u de belangrijkste functies van uw cinema- apparatuur wilt bedienen. Dit kan dus zonder vooraf de stand Home Cinema te kiezen.

1. Aan de slag

Tijd en dag instellen

Voor u de SBC RU885 instelt, moet u eerst de tijd en de dag instellen.

Als de batterijen geplaatst zijn dan wordt het Setup-menu automatisch geactiveer.

In het display verschijnt:

➜TIME (eerste regel)

➜24 H (tweede regel)

1Gebruik de SMART CONTROLS om de 24-uurs- of de 12-uurs- (AM/PM) tijdsweergave te kiezen.

2Bevestig met de Verzendtoets.

➜TIME (eerste regel)

➜-:-(tweede regel)

3Gebruik de Cijfertoetsen om de tijd in te voeren.

Met de SMART CONTROLS kunt u naar de vorige (A) of de volgende positie (B) gaan.

4Bevestig met de Verzendtoets.

➜DAY (eerste regel)

➜TUE (bijvoorbeeld - tweede regel )

5Gebruik de SMART CONTROLS om de dag te kiezen.

6Bevestig met de Verzendtoets.

➜STORED (tweede regel)

Opmerking: U kunt de tijd en de datum altijd opnieuw instellen via het Setup-menu. Om het Setup-menu te openen drukt u gewoon op Setup tot SETUP in het display verschijnt. Kies vervolgens Time met de SMART CONTROLS.

2. Instellen

De SBC RU885 is voorgeprogrammeerd voor het bedienen van de meeste TV's, videorecorders, satellietontvangers, DVD-spelers, CD-spelers, tuners, versterkers en home cinema-systemen van Philips. Apparatuur van andere merken moet u eerst in de SBC RU885 programmeren. Dit doet u echter dankzij Philips 'Simple System Set-up' in een paar seconden!

De RU885 heeft twee setup-standen:

-normale setup: basisfuncties van elk geprogrammeerd apparaat instellen.

-home cinema setup: basisfuncties van uw home cinema-apparatuur instellen.
