12.3.2 Static (IP) settings
If you select Static (IP) as your Network Mode in Network > Change Network Settings > Network Mode, you will need to provide the SL50i with the following manual settings for its wireless network:
IP Address | This is the fixed IP Address you want the SL50i to have in your |
| network. Preferably, choose one from the range 192.168.000.xxx. |
Netmask | Enter the same netmask throughout your network. E.g.: |
| 255.255.255.000 |
Gateway | Enter the IP Address of your Internet gateway router, Wireless Base |
| Station, or network host computer. (E.g.: 192.168.0.1 for the host |
| computer that provides Internet Connection Sharing.) |
DNS 1 | Usually, this would be the same address as the Gateway Address |
| above. However, some Internet Service Providers (ISP) provide you |
| with separate Dynamic Name Server addresses you need to use. |
| This should be a valid IP Address, like xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx |
