Changing the TV system

Ifyou play back recordings made on another video recorder,
theautomatic TV system switch-over may lead to colour
interferences.
aSwitchon the TV set. If required, select the programme
numberfor the video recorder.
bPressthe MENU button.The main menu appears.
cSelectthe line ’SPECIAL SETTINGS’ with the menu
buttons P=or P;andconfirm with the Pbutton.
dInthe line ’TV SYSTEM’ select the required TV system
withthe menu buttons Qor P.
eConfirmwith the OK button.
fToend, press the MENU button.
DIfcolour interference still occurs, you can switchto ’B/W’
(blackand white) in line ’TV SYSTEM’.

Child lock

aWiththe video recorder switched on, press the
CHILDLOCK ubutton on the remote control for a few
secondsuntil ’{’ appears in the video recorder display.
Keepthe remote control in a safe place.
bIfyou want to switch off the child lock,press the
CHILDLOCK ubutton again for a few seconds until ’{’
disappearsfrom the video recorder display.
DIfa button is pressed with activated child lock, ’{’
flashesin the display for a few seconds.
DProgrammedrecordings are made despite activated child
lockand cannot be interrupted.
Youcan also switch the child lock on and off with the menu
button Pinthe menu ’SPECIAL SETTINGS’, in line ’CHILD
LOCK’.

Setting the On Screen Display (OSD)

Youcan switch the On Screen Display of the current operating
informationon or off.
aSwitchon the TV set. If required, select the programme
numberfor the video recorder.
bPressthe MENU button.The main menu appears.
cSelectthe line ’SPECIAL SETTINGS’ with the menu
buttons P=or P;andconfirm with the Pbutton.
