* Compatible USB devices include external magnetic hard drives, portable flash memory devices (particularly keydrives) and digital audio players (MP3 players). It is not possible

to connect this unit to a personal computer for playback using USB.

Pioneer cannot guarantee compatibility (operation and/or bus power) with all USB mass storage devices and assumes no responsibility for any loss of data that may occur when connected to this unit.

Unfinalized discs cannot be played.

CPRM copy protection technology with scramble system allows recording of copy-once broadcast programs, but not copying of such recordings. CPRM recordings can

only be made on DVD-RW discs in VR mode, and can only be played on CPRM-compatible players.

The pickup may not be able to play some CD-R or CD-RW discs, depending on the condition of discs and pickup.

Compatible with sampling rate of 32, 44.1 or 48 kHz.

This unit plays back MPEG-4 AAC files encoded by iTunes®, bearing the extension ‘.m4a’. FairPlay and copy-protected files will not play.

Recording format should be in accordance with ISO9660 Level 1 or Level 2 CD-ROM file system.

Compatible with MPEG1 Audio Layer3 32kHz, 44.1kHz and 48kHz formats.

MP3 file name requires MP3 or mp3 as an extension.

Chinese characters cannot be displayed, although files featuring them can be played.

This unit may not be able to play back discs that have been recorded on other units due to the recording conditions, mode, surface dirt or scratches.

Not compatible with variable bit-rate (VBR) MP3, WMA and MPEG-4 AAC files.

CD-R/RW/ROM recording format should be in accordance with ISO9660 Level 1 or Level 2 file system.

DVD-R/RW/ROM Recording format should be in accordance with UDF bridge file system. This label indicates playback compatibility with DVD-RW discs recorded in VR mode (Video Recording format). However, for discs recorded with a record- only-once encrypted program, playback can only be achieved using the CPRM compatible device.

DVD players and DVD discs have Regional Code classifications that determine their market area and compatibility. Discs and players must have matching codes in order to be played. All DVD players featured in this catalog are classed as Regional Code 1.

files. WMA files encoded with DRM (Digital Rights Management) copy protection** will not play. JPEG PhotoViewer (FUJICOLOR CD/Kodak Picture CD Compatible).

This player is compatible with FUJICOLOR CD and Kodak Picture CD formats, as well as CD-R/RW/ROMs containing JPEG files.

Baseline JPEG and EXIF 2.2 still image files up to 3,072 x 2,048 resolution are supported. File format used by digital still cameras.

CD physical format: Mode 1, Mode 2 XA Form 1.
