4 Remove packing.

Lift the platter, remove the packing material,

and replace

the platter on the scale.

6 Locate the plug ports.

Locate the plug ports

under the

front of the scale

and plug in the small end of the power cord.

Tuck the cords under the

8 guides.

Tuck the cord(s) under the guides on the bottom of the scale.

5 Level the scale.

Bubble must be in center.

Level the scale by turning the scale feet until the leveling bubble is centered and the scale does not wobble.

Connect scale-meter interface

7 cable to scale.

If you're using a Pitney Bowes

meter, plug the small end of the scale-meter interface cable into the scale port.

Connect scale-meter interface

9 cable to meter.

or

If you're using a Pitney Bowes meter, connect the large end of the scale-meter interface cable to your meter's communications port. Tighten the thumbscrews securely. See the meter's operating guide for the location of the port.
