exclusive Eye-Star t® activation, wh ich reduces mis sed shots by automa ti-

nder. The system oers one o f the quickest resp onse times in it s class, and
continuous focusin g with high predi ctive accuracy for co ntinuous shoot ing
at up to 2.5 frames per second w ith the viewnd er, and up to 2 frames per

honeycomb-pattern metering
When you're using the opt ical viewnde r, the 350’s 40-s egment, honey-
comb-pattern mete ring system gives yo u the versatilit y you need to get
precise readings un der a wide range of sh ooting conditi ons. It also give s
you a choice of multi-s egment metering , center-weighted meter ing, and
spot metering mode to suit yo ur subject and s hooting conditi ons.
All digital SLR came ras are susceptib le to dust contami nation when
changing lenses - - it's a fact of life. Bu t the 350 employs built-i n sys-
tems to keep the sensor cle an, and your imag es beautiful. Fi rst, there's
an anti-static coat ing to help prevent dus t from adhering to t he low-
pass lter and other inte rnal component s. And to dislod ge any parti-
cles that do manage to rea ch the CCD, the senso r is vibrated at ultra -
high speed every time t he camera is switch ed o.
