Delete photos from your memory card
You can delete one or more photos completely from your memory card.
Warning: Once you delete a photo, it cannot be retrieved. You can lock photos to prevent them from being deleted from memory. For more information, see “Locking photos” on page 22.
1With the PLAY menu selected, turn the Menu Dial to highlight the DELETE icon.
2Press the Menu Dial to select.
The DELETE PICTURES menu displays. Select from the following menu options:
•Current: Delete the currently selected photo.
•All: Delete all photos.
•Reformat: Delete all photos and reformats the memory card.
•Exit: Cancel the operation and close the PLAY menu.
3For each menu option, you are prompted to confirm your choice.
