Do Not Use Ni-Cd batteries.

Always replace both batteries at the same time.

After the camera is powered on, the battery power level icon will be displayed on the LCD and will remain on the display when the battery is full.

The battery power level icon will blink when the battery power is running low. Once this happens, please replace the batteries immediately.

When replacing batteries, remember to slide the Power On/Off switch to ‘OFF’.

When the camera is loaded with film, battery replacement must be done within 1 minute.

When the camera is not loaded with film and not in use for a long time, remove the batteries.

Power Save Function

If the camera is not in use for over 250 seconds, the camera will turn off automatically to save battery power. To re-activate the camera, either press the Shutter Release button lightly or slide the Power On/Off Switch to ‘OFF’, then ‘ON’ again.

About the Film Speed

The camera is designed to use DX-coded ISO100,

ISO200 or ISO400 film. When the film is loaded Fig.8 properly, the camera automatically sets the film

speed to ISO100 with ISO100/200 film and to ISO400 with ISO400 film by reading the black-and-silver pattern on the film cassettes.

Loading the Film

1. Open the film compartment by pressingFig.9 downward on the Film Door Latch and gently

lifting up the film compartment door.

2.Insert a new roll of film into the Film Chamber (Fig. 8).

3.Pull out the film leader across to the film tip mark to reach the Film Take-Up Spool (Fig. 9).
