TheSOUND Menu
TheSOUND menu offers different audio options.
VOLUME Decreases/increasessound volume.
TREBLE Decreases/increases high-pitched sound.
BASS Decreases/increaseslow-pitched sound.
BALANCE Adjustsleft/right speaker balance.
SURROUND Turnsthe surround sound on or off.
STEREO Adjustdifferent kinds of the stereo sound effect.
ThePICTURE Menu
ThePICTURE menu allows you make adjustments to your
picturesettings.
BRIGHTNESS Adjuststhebrightness of the picture.
CONTRAST Adjuststhe contrast between the light and
darkareas of the picture.
COLOR Adjuststhe color intensity or saturation.
SHARPNESS Adjuststhe sharpness of the picture.
TINT Adjuststhe balance between the red and
greenlevels.
COLORTEMP Providesthreecolor adjustments: NORMAL,
COLD(formore blue in the picture), and
WARM(for more red in the picture).
Using TV Menus
TV Menus
TVMenus let you control picture quality and features available for TV viewing. There is a different menu
systemfor DVD features, described on page 16.

Note:Remember to use the TV arrow buttons when accessing the TV's menu system.

TVMenu Navigation
1. To bring up the TV's menu system, press the MENU button.
2. Press MENU button repeatedly to select PICTURE, SOUND, TUNING or FUNCTION submenu.
3. Press the / buttons on the remote (or CH / onthe front of the TV) to select the option.
4. Use the arrow buttons / onthe remote (or the VOL / buttons on the front of the TV) to
changethe setting of the option.
5. Press the MENU button on the remote to exit the menu system.
