To Transfer a Call

To TRANSFER a call, press SHIFT then press REDIAL. At the dial tone, dial the extension to which the call is being transferred. Press REDIAL again to complete the transfer, either when you hear ringing or after talking privately with the person to whom the call is being transferred. To cancel a transfer attempt press ON/OFF, instead of the second REDIAL press, anytime during the attempt.

While dialing, the extension will show on the display. The display will revert to its previous mode after the transfer is completed or cancelled.

Note: Since the conference phone is a single line phone, all conferenced parties will be transferred when this function is used

To Mute the Microphone

To shut off the microphones while keeping the speaker on, press MUTE. This shuts off all microphones including extended microphones, if installed.

The display will show MUTE and the LEDs will turn from green to red. To take the call off MUTE, press MUTE again.

Press REDIAL. The display on the main keypad will show the last phone number which you called or attempted to call.

The ON/OFF key does not have to be pressed for REDIAL to initiate a call.
