A rubber nose cushion (C) Fig. 26, is provided to reduce marring of the work surface. The rubber cushion can be pulled off to provide increased depth-of- drive for toe-nailing applications. The nose cushion can be stored in the rear area of the magazine (A) Fig. 27, when not in use.

Disconnect tool from air supply before removing or re- installing rubber cushion.

CLEARING A JAMMED FASTENER

Disconnect tool from air supply.

1.Open feeder cover and magazine nail holder. Remove any remaining fasteners from the nailer.

2.Use a slender, soft steel rod to drive the driver blade to its uppermost position. Use needle nose pliers to remove the jammed fastener (see Fig. 28).

3.Follow instructions in PREPARING THE TOOL to reload fasteners.
