HOW TO STOP YOUR UNIT

SRelease the throttle trigger.
SPush and release the engine ON/STOP
switch.The switch will automaticallyreturn to
the ON position. Wait 5 seconds before at-
temptingto restart unit to allow s witch to reset.

1. Set unit on a flat sur face.
2. Slowly pressthe primer bulb 6 times.
3. Movethe start lever to the START position.

4. Pull s tarter rope handles harply until en-
gine starts and runs.
5. Allow unit to run for 10--15 seconds, then
fully squeeze the throttle trigger to disen-
gage the startings ystem.

STARTINGA WARM ENGINE

Pull starter rope sharply until engine starts
andr uns.
NOTE:Normally, the warm s tarting procedure
can be used within 5 -- 10 minutes after the unit
is turnedSTOP. If the unit sits for more than 10
minutesw ithout being run, it will be neces sary to
start the unit by following the s teps under
STARTING ACOLDENGINEorfollowingthe
starting instruction steps shown on the unit .

STARTINGA FLOODED ENGINE

Move the start lever to the RUN pos ition and
fully squeeze throttle trigger. Pull the starter
handle repeatedly while squeezing throttle
triggeruntil engine starts and r uns. This could
requirepulling the star ter handle many times,
depending on how badly the unit is flooded.
