Extended Battery Cabinets

Powerware offers a full line of battery cabinets for the Powerware P93.

ABattery cabinets may be daisy-chained together for extended battery runtimes, (up to 2).

AIntegral configuration, which line up and match, is standard.1

AFront-access-only enhances servicing and installation.

ASlide trays and modular battery packaging makes periodic servicing easy.

ACabinets are UL 1778 listed.

AFlame retardant batteries meet UL 94V2 for computer room installations.

AWiring installation.2

Manufacturer-supplied wiring with quick disconnects provides plug-and-play capability for line-up and match configurations.

A DC rated circuit breaker in each battery cabinet allows multiple battery strings to be serviced independently of each other, assuring back up power is always available to the UPS

Quick disconnects between battery tray assemblies reduce battery maintenance time.

Removable battery slide-out tray assembles provide “front access only” and reduce battery maintenance time.

1.Battery cabinets can be configured as line up and match or remotely located. Customer must provide wiring for remotely located cabinets. 2. If concurrent to P93 Field Installation, Powerware PN 103003671, IBM PN 97P3604.

P93 specifications

The Powerware P93 is a reliable and efficient uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed to provide critical backup power and ensure the protection of sensitive electronic equipment. It is particularly suitable for medium to large-scale applications such as data centers, telecommunications systems, and industrial operations. Powerware, a part of Eaton Corporation, has built a solid reputation for producing high-quality power solutions, and the P93 series exemplifies this commitment to excellence.

One of the main features of the Powerware P93 is its modular design, which allows for easy scalability and customization based on the specific power requirements of the user. This modularity means that businesses can start with a smaller unit and expand their UPS capacity as their power needs grow, thereby optimizing their initial investment.

The P93 series employs advanced double-conversion technology, providing a clean and stable output power with minimal distortion. This is crucial for protecting sensitive electronic equipment from power anomalies such as surges, sags, and outages. The UPS features a high input power factor, which not only contributes to energy efficiency but also minimizes the need for oversizing the generator capacity in backup power scenarios.

Another standout characteristic of the Powerware P93 is its energy-saving capabilities. Equipped with intelligent battery management systems, the UPS optimizes battery usage and extends their life cycle through controlled charging and discharging. Additionally, the unit supports eco-mode operation, further enhancing energy efficiency while reducing operating costs.

The P93 series also includes advanced communication and monitoring features, enabling seamless integration into existing network management systems. Users can monitor and manage the UPS via a user-friendly graphical interface, allowing for real-time insights into power conditions and performance statistics.

Moreover, the P93 is designed with redundancy and reliability in mind, featuring a hot-swappable battery design that permits maintenance without downtime. This is critical for organizations that cannot afford interruptions to their power supply. With features such as overload protection and user-replaceable components, the P93 series ensures longevity and durability.

In conclusion, the Powerware P93 provides a robust solution for organizations seeking dependable power backup. With its modular design, advanced double-conversion technology, energy-efficient features, and reliable monitoring capabilities, it is an ideal choice for safeguarding critical operations from power disturbances.
