Le Microscope grand écran de Quantum® est livré avec les accessoires suivants : quatre lames en plastique, quatre protections pour les lames, une baguette, une pince et une spatule.

1) Mise en place des piles (Figure 2)

Le système fonctionne avec deux piles de type "C" (non fournies). Le compartiment des piles est sur le côté arrière gauche de l'appareil. Dévissez le bouton du compartiment en le tournant dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une montre. Placez les piles l'une après l'autre dans le compartiment en respectant les symboles imprimés en noir. Replacez le bouton et vissez à fond en tournant dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.

2) Remplacement de l'ampoule (Figure 3 & 4)

Attendez que l'ampoule refroidisse avant de la changer. Débranchez le Quantum et enlevez le plateau ainsi que le condensateur, comme l’indique la figure 3. Agrippez le module d’éclairage et tournez vers la gauche pour déverrouiller. Soulevez vers le haut et le module devrait sortir facilement. Remplacez le module d’éclairage avec celui inclus dans la trousse. Insérez le

nouveau module, tournez vers le droite pour verrouiller comme l’indique la figure 4.

3) Apprêter une lame préparée (Figure 5)

Les lames fournies vous permettent d'observer vos spécimens. Un spécimen doit être assez fin pour laisser passer la lumière, comme les cheveux, le papier pelure ou une feuille. Le cas échéant, demandez à un adulte de vous aider à couper un échantillon très fin de votre
