OPERATION

1. To char
g
e two NiCd or NiMH AA batteries, install both into one of the two char
g

compartments as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and –) marked inside
the compartment, then set the NiCd/Ni-MH switch to t he appropriate settin
g
.
Note: Both batteries must be installed in the same compartment.
To char
g
e four NiCd or Ni-MH AA batteries, install two batteries into each com-
partment as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and –) marked inside each com-
partment, then set NiCd/Ni-MH switch to the appropriate settin
g
.
Caution: Do not mix battery types.

batteries.
To fully char

ies and 12 hours for Ni-MH batteries.
3. When the batteries finish char

, unplu

er from the outlet, then
remove the batteries from the char
g
er. The indicator turns off.
