Basic Operation

Checking the Time Remaining and Elapsed on a CD

The display normally shows the current CD and track numbers, and the current track’s elapsed play time.

Press TIME on the remote control once during play to display the current track’s remaining time. Press TIME again to display the current CD’s remaining time. Press TIME again to display the current CD’s total elapsed time.

During programmed play, pressing TIME twice displays the total programmed time and the number of the programmed track playing (see “Programming a Sequence” on Page 14). During best selection play, pressing TIME twice dis- plays the number of tracks stored in the best selection memory (see “Storing Your Best Tracks” on Page 12).

Notes:

The CD changer does not display the current CD’s total remaining time during programmed, random, or best selection play.

The CD changer might not display the remaining time for tracks num- bered greater than 24 on a CD.
