Switch to TONE or PULSE to match the type of service you have. If you have pulse (rotary) ser-
vice, you can switch to TONE during a call to
use tone services.Use the memory index card to record important phone
numbers.

Handset Holder (Wall Mounting) Slide the clip up, rotate it 180°, then slide it back into the slot.
Note: The USOC number of the jack to be installed is RJ11C (RJ11W for a wall jack).

Plug the handset cord into the jacks on the handset and base.
Set the ringer to sound or not. You can make calls with the ringer off, and you can receive calls if you hear another phone on the same line ringing.
Press FLASH to produce a timed switchhook sig- nal for special services such as Call Waiting.
Note: If you do not subscribe to any special ser- vices, pressing FLASH might disconnect the call.
Press RESET to end a call without returning the handset to the cradle.
Press REDIAL to dial the last number dialed (up to 31 tone or 32 pulse digits).
