2.While holding down PRESET, press the button for the the device you want to set. The PRESET RECALL indicator lights.

The labels on the CONTROL MODE buttons are for your convenience only. You can program any device to any button. For example, if you do not have a DVD player but you wish to program your sec- ond VCR, use DVD to enter the code for second VCR.

3.Point the remote control to the device desired and enter the three- digit code. The remote control sends power on/off signal for the device. If the code is correct, the device should turn on or off.

If the device does not function, repeat Steps 2 and 3 and try other codes for the manufacturer. If it still does not function, you must use the original remote control supplied with your device.

Notes:

The remote control keeps the code you programmed for short peri- ods of time, allowing you to replace the batteries without losing the codes. However, if the remote control fails to operate after you replace the batteries, re-enter the codes.

You can clear all the programmed codes if necessary. Press PRESET, DISC, and POWER (on the top row, not RECEIVER POWER at the bottom) at the same time for about three seconds until the PRESET RECALL indicator blinks three times.
