Managing videos on your computer

Computer system requirements

Windows Vista™, Windows® 7 or Windows® XP with Service Pack 2 or higher

USB Port (2.0 recommended)

Internet Access (broadband recommended)

16-bit color video card

Mac®: Mac OS® X version 10.4.11 or later.

PC Hardware:

Pentium 4, 2.4 GHz or better

At least 1GB system RAM (2GB recommended)

Video card with 64 MB of RAM (128 MB recommended)

Connecting to a PC

1.Connect the supplied USB cable to the connection jack. USB connector standard: mini-B

2.Connect the other end of the cable to the computer.

3.Windows: The first time you connect the camcorder to the PC, the Small Wonder will mount as a drive letter. To access the Memory Manager 3 installer, open My Computer and double-click the drive labeled SMALLWONDER. Double-click MemoryMgr3_Windows_Installer.exe to start the installation.

The RCA Detective application is installed with Memory Manager 3 and will automatically run the Memory Manager 3 application when your camcorder is connected to the PC.

Mac: The first time you connect the camcorder to the Mac, the Small Wonder will mount as a drive. To access the Memory Manager 3 installer, double-click the drive labeled SMALLWONDER. Double-click the RCA Mac Installers.dmg folder. Double-click the MemoryMgr3 Mac Installer to start the installation. After the Memory Manager 3 installation has completed, double-click RCA Detective Installer to install the RCA Detective, which will automatically run the Memory Manager 3 application when your camcorder is connected to the Mac.

Camcorder cannot record while connected to the PC.
