Before you begin

Battery back-up operation

VOICE RECOGNITION – turn on/off the voice recognition function
When the Voice Recognition function is turned off, the unit will still announce the settings when you set the time, the wake source, the wake time and the sleep time.
BAND – select between AM and FM bands.
TUNING – select radio frequencies.
SLEEP – activate sleep function.

Demo mode
To activate the Demo mode, press and hold the SNOOZE button for a while. A voice message will guide you to finish the setting without memorizing a series of commands.
Alternatively, you can use the default voice commands to control the unit. Refer to the next section for details.
Voice recognition mode
This unit recognizes voice commands.To switch on the voice recognition mode, press the VOICE RECOGNITION button on the rear panel of the unit. The blue Voice recognition indicator on the front of the unit will then be lighted. You can use below voice commands to control the unit.

Setting clock manually
1.Press SET thrice.
2.Press REV or FWD to set the clock time. The time decrements or increments follow by a faster rate when you press and hold the
button.

3.To save and exit the clock setting, wait for about 5 seconds or press SET to listen to the voice confirmation message.

Selecting radio mode
Press ON to switch on radio.
Press OFF to switch off radio.
Switching band
Slide the BAND switch on the right of the unit to select FM or AM band.
Tuning the radio
Rotate the TUNING knob on the right of the unit to adjust the radio frequency that shows on the display for a while.
Built-in AFC
The Built In Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) works only on FM. It helps reducing drift on FM reception and keeping the radio locked in on the FM station to which it is tuned.
When tuning in FM stations, you may notice that the station you are tuning can be
Setting wake time
This unit allows two wake times to be set.
1.Press SET once to set time for Alarm 1 or twice to set for Alarm 2.

You may be woken up by radio or alarm (buzzer).

Turning off the wake alarm or radio
•To silence the wake function momentarily:
To turn off the wake function, press SNOOZE on the top of the unit. The wake alarm or radio will be switched off temporarily. The alarm or radio will be on again when the snooze period (9 minutes) is over.
•To turn off the wake alarm or radio:
Press OFF. The wake alarm or radio will activate again the next day unless you switch off the Wake function.
•To disable the wake function completely:

Set sleep time manually
In sleep mode, you can set the duration (up to 90 minutes) before the radio turn off automatically.
To set the sleep mode:
•Press SLEEP repeatedly to cycle among the sleep times available (90min, 60min, 30min, 15min and OFF. Off is the default setting. When you first set the sleep time, the sleep time is default to 90 min).
•The radio will be switched on.
To check the remaining time in sleep mode:
•Press SLEEP once to check the remaining sleep time on the display.
To cancel the sleep mode:
•If you decide to turn off the unit sooner, press OFF or press SLEEP repeatedly untill OFF is displayed.
Set sleep time in Voice recognition mode
1.Press VOICE RECOGNITION at the back panel of the unit to switch on the function if the blue voice recognition indicator is off.
2.Say Wake up sleepy head to start using the voice recognition mode.
3.Say Sleep after What can I do for you? is heard.
4.Say the desired sleep timer duration after Sleep time is now set at 90 minutes. Please choose the sleep timer duration: 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes or off is heard.
5.A message confirming the sleep timer duration will be heard.

How to make a warranty claim:
