IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
When using your shaver, basic precautions should always be observed, including the following. Read all instructions before using this shaver. The
DANGER
To reduce the risk of electric shock:
■Do not place or store shaver or charging stand where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. Do not place in or drop charging stand into water or other liquid.
■Except when charging, always unplug this charger from the electrical outlet immediately after using.
■Unplug charging stand before cleaning.
■Only use Remington supplied charging stand to charge shaver. Do not attempt to plug any cord directly into shaver.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury:
■Your shaver should never be left unattended when plugged in, except when charging your rechargeable shaver.
■Close supervision is necessary when this shaver is used by, on, or near children or invalids.
■Use this shaver only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attach- ments not recommended by the manufacturer.
■Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
■Never operate this shaver if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or the charging stand has been dropped into water. Return the shaver to a service center for examination and repair.
■Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
■Do not use with charging stand outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
■Do not use this shaver with a damaged or broken cutting head, as facial injury may occur.
■Always attach shaver to charging stand, then plug to outlet. To disconnect, turn all controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.

■Dispose of used batteries properly. Do not incin- erate. Batteries may explode if overheated. Do not wrap in metal or aluminum foil. Wrap in news- paper before discarding. It is suggested that you contact local town/city officials to determine proper battery redemption site(s) in your area.
■Do not attempt to recharge alkaline, heavy- duty or regular batteries in a battery charger.
■For “Household Use Only.”
■Do not use charger while bathing.
■If charger stand falls into water, “unplug it” immediately. Do not reach into the water.
