Ignoring an Incoming Telephone Call

1.When the FLX2 System identifies an incoming call, it will play the ring tone through the FLX Speaker.

2.The FLX Dialer will display the caller ID information for the incoming call.

3.A call can be ignored in one of two fashions.

a.Press the Red ‘End Call’ button on the FLX

Dialer.

b.Press the ‘Ignore’ key on the FLX Dialer.

Note: Once the user ignores the call, the system will cease to ring, but the option to answer is available until the caller disconnects.

Ending a Telephone call

1.A call can be ended in one of three fashions.

a.Press the Red ‘End Call’ button on the FLX

Dialer during a call.

b.Place the Dialer in the charger. (‘handset mode’ Only)

c.Place all the Microphones in the charger. (‘speaker mode’ Only)

2.When a call is ended the FLX Dialer will display the phone number and the call duration for 2 seconds.

3.After 2 seconds, the home screen is shown, and system is idle/ready for call.

4.Microphones not in the Charger Base will maintain their mute states (muted / unmuted) when a call is ended, and will start in this state when another call is made.

Calling a Directory Contact

1.A directory contact can be called in one of two fashions.

a.Browse to contact menu: Menu Contacts. Select the contact, and press the green ‘Call’ key.

b.Browse to contact menu: Menu Contacts. Select the contact, and press the ‘Enter’ key or the ‘View’ key. From the contact view screen, press the green ‘Call’ key.
