WARNING:

Be prepared for binding at bit breakthrough. When binding occurs, the drill has a tendency to react and kick opposite to the direction of rotation. This may cause loss of control when breaking through materials. If not prepared, this loss of control can result in possible serious injury.

NOTE: When drilling in forward, the bit will rotate in a clockwise direction. If the bit binds in the hole, the bit will come to a sudden stop and the drill will suddenly react in a counterclockwise direction.

When drilling in reverse, the bit will rotate in a counter- clockwise direction. If the bit binds in the hole, the bit will come to a sudden stop and the drill will suddenly react in a clockwise direction.
