The M-300 V-Mixer is the ultimate sol u-

tion for a variety of venues and app lica-

tions. It provides a substantial m ixing

capacity of 32 mixing channe ls, 8 aux

buses, 4 matrices, which repre sent the

highest level in its class. The M -300

V-Mixer seamlessly integrates w ith

other REAC devices. The user c an

directly operate the Digital Snake

preamp, control an M-48 Personal Mi xer, and set up the I/O for the S-4000M

REAC Merge Unit. All of these featur es are contained in a ver y compact size

of 749mm width x 626mm depth x 229mm height, and at a weig ht of 9.8kg

(21 lbs 10 oz). The M-300 is the perfect choice f or any venue with a limited

set-up area, as well as for mobile sound r einforcement. Optional ra ck rails

are also available.

Advanced Control Surface Design

The M-380 and M-400 V-Mixers are h ighly regarded for their ea se of use

and the M-300 continues this tra dition starting with 17 x 100mm motorize d

faders. Central to the M-300’s opera tion is a high-resolution 8 00x480 pixel

color display. Channel Parameters s uch as Gain, Pan, EQ and Dynamics

can be comfortably operated f rom the Channel Edit sectio n located on the

left side of the display. All parameter s can be instantly saved and rec alled

from Scene Memory. The layers of fad ers can be easily switched w ith the

LAYER button. Faders can be accesse d and arranged freely, and s aved as

a User Layer.

Powerful Built-in Channel Effects

Equalization of channels and d ynamics are the foundatio n of any great mix.

The enhanced sound shapin g abilities of the M-300 inp ut channels include

4-band fully parametric EQ as wel l as gate and compression. A Key-In f ilter

can be used for the Gate/Compress or to enable more expressive m ixing.

The 4 multi-effects proces sors can be set to use any of 11 different e ffects

types. In addition to Reverb and D elay, modulation effects suc h as Chorus

and Phaser are also available. Th e M-300’s busses are also e quipped with

8 bands of fully Parametric EQ and Sig nal Delay on each Aux, Matrix a nd

Main output. The M-300 is fully e quipped with all of the soun d adjustment

tools built-in and ready to go.

USB memory recorder/player

Record the output of the M-300 Mai n, assigned

AUX bus or MATRIX bus directly to a USB

memory drive connected to the b uilt-in USB port.

A mix produced with the M-300 can b e saved as

an uncompressed WAV file, without the ne ed for

an external recorder. WAV files on the USB

memory drive can also be pla yed back on the

M-300 and used for background mus ic/tracks.

User settings and mixer data can a lso be saved

to a USB memory drive.

Control remotely from a PC

The M-300 can be controlle d remotely in real-ti me from a PC (Window s) connected via

the USB port. Mixing functi ons on the M-300 can be o perated directly f rom a PC by

using the M-300RCS dedic ated control soft ware which has the sa me GUI as the M-300

color display. (The M-300RC S can be downloaded fr om the Roland Systems G roup

website.) The M-300RCS can also b e operated

in offline mode, allowing d ata for various

settings to be created in advanc e and saved to

a USB memory drive. When you g et to the

venue, load the settings and jum p right into

sound check and rehearsa l.

Control remotely using a wi reless LAN

By enabling Remote Deskto p Connection on a lo cal PC

directly connected to the M-30 0 via the USB, the

M-300 can be controlled rem otely from another PC

using a wireless LAN. A tabl et PC can be used to

control the M-300 from a remote l ocation. For exampl e,

you can be seated in the audienc e to adjust the house

mix during the rehearsal, o r stand onstage to ad just the

monitor mix while consultin g the stage perform er. The

M-300 enables new mixing p ossibilities that y ou could

never achieve with an analog c onsole.

V-LINK - Audio and Visual Sol ution

By connecting the MIDI input /output to the video switch er such as the V-1600HD,

V-LINK automatically synch ronizes the audio of the M -300 with the visual i mages

allowing “audio follows vide o”.

Multi-channel recor ding to a DAW

Forty channels of 24-bit aud io can be recorded dire ctly to a PC (Windows) by

connecting a REAC port to the g igabit Ethernet por t on the PC via a single Cat5 e

cable. Audio is recorded as ind ividual WAV files using C akewalk SONAR and can b e

mixed after recording usin g the

powerful digital audio too ls and

effects in SONAR.

* To use this feature, the CW-RDK REAC driver

kit is required in addition to SONAR.
