Chapter 5. Parameter Guide EFFECTS
When “P.SHIFTER” is selected as the
type
ON/OFF [OFF, ON]
Turns the two each pitch shifter sounds on/off.
MODE
Selection for the pitch shifter mode.
POLY:
You can play chords.
MONO:
Compared with conventional pitch shifters, modulation
is minimized. You should play notes individually.
SHIFT [-24–+24]
Adjusts the amount of pitch shift (the amount of pitch
change) in semitone steps.
FINE [-50–+50]
Make fine adjustments to the pitch shift.
FEEDBACK [0–100]
This adjusts the feedback amount of the pitch shift sound.
PRE DLY [0–300msec, BPM –BPM ]
Adjusts the time from when the direct sound is heard until
the pitch shifted sounds are heard. Normally you can leave
this set at “0ms.”
PAN [L=100 R=0 – L=0 R=100]
Assign the left/right location of the sound.
LEVEL [0–100]
Adjusts the volume of the pitch shifter sound.
DIR LEV (direct level) [0–100]
Adjusts the volume of the direct sound.
When “FLANGER” is selected as the
type
RATE [0–100, BPM –BPM ]
This sets the rate of the flanging effect.
* When set to BPM, the value of each parameter will be set
according to the value of the BPM (p. 55) specified for each
patch. This makes it easier to achieve effect sound settings that
match the tempo of the song.
DEPTH [0–100]
Determines the depth of the flanging effect.
MANUAL [0–100]
Adjusts the center frequency at which to apply the effect.
RESO (resonance) [0–100]
Determines the amount of resonance (feedback). Increasing
the value will emphasize the effect, creating a more unusual
sound.
SEPARATE (separation) [0–100]
Adjusts the diffusion. The diffusion increases as the value
increases.
LEVEL [0–100]
Adjusts the volume of the flanger sound.
