Zoom In/Out

ZOOM Button

When playing a video disc, the RDV-1080 can zoom in to enlarge a section of the picture up to 1024 times its original size or zoom out to reduce a picture to 1/8 of its original size. The zoom feature is available for full-motion video during playback or for still-frame pictures while the unit is paused.

To zoom in or out, use the ZOOM buttons on the remote. Each press of the ZOOM + button doubles the size of the picture. Each press of the ZOOM – button halves the size of the picture.

An icon at the top left of the screen shows the current magnification. A rectangular box represents the portion of the original image currently being displayed.

To move the zoomed-in position, use

the CURSOR buttons. The zoomed image will move on the screen as indicated by the box in the graphic display.

To return to normal size, press ENTER.

Selecting a Scene Angle

Some DVD Video discs have scenes that can be viewed from multiple user-selectable camera angles. Multi-angle parts are indicated by a screen icon at the beginning of the scene. There are three ways to select alternate camera angles:
