Cleaning
To prevent the build up of grass under the deck and to maintain the appearance of the mower it should be cleaned at the end of each days mowing.
Stop the engine and remove the spark plug lead when the blade has stopped Remove the grass catcher and tilt the mower back on it’s handle bars
Hose the underside of the mower housing to remove all grass build up
Lower the mower to the ground and fit the spark plug lead to the spark plug
Hose the grass catcher inside and out to remove all grass debris and hang up to dry before storage
CAUTION
Do not hose the engine as water can damage the air cleaner and ignition system

Blade removal-

Remove the spark plug lead from the spark plug

Set the mower to the high cut position

Lift the rear flap and prop open to give access to the blades.

Remove the blade retaining nuts, bolts, blades, washers and discard.

Remove the spark lead from the spark plug

Set the mower to the high cut position

Lift the rear flap and prop open to give access to the blades.

Fit the new blades, blade bolts, washers and nuts in sets to maintain balance. Refer to figure 5 for correct order.

Tighten the blade nuts to 16 Nm. Check that the blades are free to move when the blade nut is tightened

Remove the flap prop and replace the spark plug lead
