UNPACKING

This product has been shipped completely assembled.

nCarefully remove the product and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included.

nInspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.

nDo not discard the packing material until you have care- fully inspected and satisfactorily operated the product.

nIf any parts are damaged or missing, please call 1-800-525-2579 for assistance.

OPERATION

WARNING:

Do not allow familiarity with this product to make you careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict serious injury.

Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields when operating power tools. Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into your eyes resulting in possible serious injury.

Do not use any attachments or accessories not recommended by the manufacturer of this product. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended can result in serious personal injury.

APPLICATIONS

You may use this product for the purposes listed below:

Drilling in all types of wood products (lumber, plywood, paneling, composition board, and hardwood)

Drilling in ceramics, plastics, fiberglass, and laminates

Drilling in metals

Mixing paint

SWITCH TRIGGER

See Figure 2.

To turn the drill ON, depress the switch trigger. To turn it OFF, release the switch trigger.

VARIABLE SPEED

The variable speed switch delivers higher speed and torque with increased trigger pressure and lower speed with de- creased trigger pressure.

Note:  You might hear a whistling or ringing noise from the switch during use. Do not be concerned; this is a normal part of the switch function.
