4.2 Connecting / Disconnecting to / from the Internet
4.2.1 Connecting to the Internet
1Click the Remote access icon on the
control strip at the bottom of the
desktop to display the list of
commands associated with this icon.
Note: Before connection, the remote
access status is Inactive.
Select Open Remote Access.
2The Remote Access screen appears.
3Enter your "User name" and your
"Password". These data are delivered
to you by your Internet Access
Provider (IAP).
4Check the "Save password" box for
the following users if you want.
Note: The Number field must contain
"123456"
5Click to set up the
connection and access the Internet.
6Open your navigator and surf the Internet.
Note: For the first connection, you must follow the procedure described abo ve.
However, for subsequent connections, simply opening a browser will connect you
directly to the remote network.
