•Plasser langpannen (uten trefot) på nivå 1 for å samle opp stekesjyen, eller sett den nederst i ovnen hvis kjøttstykket som skal stekes, er for stort.

•Stikk en av gaflene inn i spiddet, plasser kjøttstykket på spiddet.

•Halvkokte poteter og grønnsaker kan plasseres langs kantene i langpannen slik at de blir stekt samtidig.

•Plasser understellet på den midtre hyllen med “v”-formen vendt fremover.

•Det blir lettere å sette inn spiddet hvis du skrur fast håndtaket på den butte enden.

•Plasser spiddet i understellet med den spisse enden vendt bakover, og skyv forsiktig til tuppen av spiddet kommer inn i roteringsmekanismen bak i ovnen. Den butte enden av spiddet må ligge i “v”-formen. (Spiddet har to knaster som skal være nærmest ovnsdøren for å hindre at spiddet glir fremover. Knastene fungerer også som feste for håndtaket.)
