Network connection tips

tSome AP devices will not allow your camera to connect to the network.

tIf you are far from the AP device, it may take long to connect to the network.

tIf there is any electronic equipment nearby that uses the same radio frequency (RF) signals, the camera may not connect to the AP device.

tIf the AP device has a non-English name, it may not appear in the search list or the name may appear jumbled or incomplete.

tFor network profiles and a password, contact your network administrator or network service provider.

tIf the network requires any authentication from the service provider, you may not connect to it. Contact your network service provider.

tThe number of characters and numbers allowed for the encryption key differs depending on the encryption type.

tA WLAN connection may not be possible depending on your surroundings.

tWhen searching for networks, you may be able to find a printer that supports the network. However, you cannot use the printer to connect to a network.

tThe camera cannot connect to the network if it is connected to a TV with the A/V cable. Also, when the camera is connected to the network, you cannot view files on a TV screen even when connected with the A/V cable.

tYou can use only free WLANs with your camera. If you use free WLANs that require the user agreement and additional information when you connect to a web browser, some features may be limited when connecting to websites or sending email.
