Used for turning the camera power on / off.
If this camera is not in operation during the specified time(about 60 SEC), the camera power will be idle(LCD monitor : Off, Mode dial lamp : illuminating) automatically.
The camera power will be turned off automatically during periods of inactivity. This is done to reduce battery drain. The camera can be reactivated by sliding the power switch again.
