Consente di specificare come assegnare il nome ai file.

•Reset: Stabilisce che il numero del file parta da 0001 quando si inserisce una nuova scheda di memoria, si formatta una nuova scheda di memoria o si eliminano tutti i file.

•Serie*: stabilisce che il numero del file segua il numero del file precedente quando si inserisce una nuova scheda di memoria, si formatta una nuova scheda di memoria o si eliminano tutti i file.

•Il nome predefinito della prima cartella è 100PHOTO e il nome predefinito del primo file è SAM_0001.

•Il numero del file aumenta di un'unità da SAM_0001 a SAM_9999.

•Il numero della cartella aumenta di un'unità da 100PHOTO a 999PHOTO.

•Il numero massimo di file memorizzabili in una cartella è 9999.

•La fotocamera definisce i nomi file in base agli standard del sistema DCF (Digital rule for Camera File). Se si modifica intenzionalmente il nome dei file, la fotocamera potrebbe non essere più in grado di riprodurli.
