3. Dopo aver riavviato il computer, collegare il PC e la fotocamera tramite il cavo USB.

4. Accendere la fotocamera. Quando compare la finestra della procedura guidata [Found New Hardware Wizard] (Trovato un nuovo hardware) il computer è pronto a riconoscere la fotocamera.

Se il sistema operativo è Windows XP, si aprirà anche il programma di visualizzazioni immagini. Se compare la finestra di download di Digimax Master, significa che il driver della fotocamera è stato impostato correttamente.

Se sul computer è stato installato il driver specifico della fotocamera, la finestra [Found New Hardware Wizard] (Trovato nuovo hardware) potrebbe non comparire.

Nei sistemi operativi Windows 98 o 98 SE, la finestra di dialogo Trovato nuovo hardware si apre e chiede all'utente di rintracciare il file del driver. In tal caso, dal CD in dotazione scegliere la voce "Driver USB".
