•Se la fotocamera non riconosce una modalità di scena corretta, comparirà e vengono utilizzate le impostazioni predefinite.

•Anche se viene rilevato un volto, la fotocamera potrebbe non selezionare una modalità ritratto in base alla posizione o all'illuminazione del soggetto.

•La fotocamera potrebbe non selezionare la scena corretta in base agli ambienti di scatto, ad esempio oscillazione della fotocamera, illuminazione e distanza dal soggetto.

•Anche se utilizzate un cavalletto, la modalità non può essere rilevata in base al movimento del soggetto.

• In modalità la fotocamera consuma più energia, perché cambia spesso le impostazioni per la selezione delle scene appropriate.
