●Visszaállítás: Ezt kiválasztva a fájlok számozása új memóriakártya behelyezése, a memóriakártya formázása vagy az összes fájl törlése után ismét 0001-ről kezdődik.

●Sorozat*: Ezt kiválasztva a fájlok számozása új memóriakártya behelyezése, a memóriakártya formázása vagy az összes fájl törlése után az előző számtól folytatódik.

●Az első mappa alapértelmezett neve 100PHOTO, az első fájlé SAM_0001.

●A fájlnevekben a számok egyesével nőnek SAM_0001-től SAM_9999-ig.

●A mappanevekben a számok egyesével nőnek 100PHOTO-tól 999PHOTO-ig.

●Egy mappában legfeljebb 9999 fájl lehet.

●A fájlnevek kiosztása a DCF szabvány (Digital rule for Camera File system, digitális szabály fényképezőgép-fájlrendszerhez) alapján történik. Ha szándékosan megváltoztatja a fájlneveket, előfordulhat, hogy a fényképezőgép nem tudja lejátszani a fájlokat.
