•Reimposta: consente di iniziare la numerazione dei file da 0001 quando inserite una nuova scheda di memoria, formattate una scheda di memoria o eliminate tutti i file.

•Serie*: consente di riprendere la numerazione dei file dal numero del file precedente quando inserite una nuova scheda di memoria, formattate una scheda di memoria o eliminate tutti i file.

•Il nome predefinito della prima cartella è 100PHOTO e il nome predefinito del primo file è SAM_0001.

•Il numero dei file aumenta di una unità alla volta da SAM_0001 a SAM_9999.

•Il numero della cartella aumenta di una unità alla volta da 100PHOTO a 999PHOTO.

•Il numero massimo di file memorizzabili in una cartella è 1000.

•La fotocamera definisce i nomi file in base allo standard DCF (Design rule for Camera File system). Se cambiate deliberatamente i nomi dei file, la fotocamera potrebbe non riprodurre i file.
