ήαναπαραγωγής. Κάθε τύπος οθόνης εμφανίζει διαφορετικές πληροφορίες λήψης ή αναπαραγωγής. Βλ. τον παρακάτω πίνακα.

Πληροφορίες για ένα ιστόγραμμα

Ένα ιστόγραμμα είναι ένα γράφημα το οποίο εμφανίζει τον τρόπο κατανομής του φωτός στη φωτογραφία σας. Αν το ιστόγραμμα εμφανίζει μια υψηλή κορυφή στα αριστερά, η έκθεση της φωτογραφίας είναι μικρότερη από το κανονικό και θα εμφανιστεί πιο σκοτεινή. Μια κορυφή στα δεξιά του γραφήματος σημαίνει ότι

ηέκθεση της φωτογραφίας είναι μεγαλύτερη από το κανονικό και θα εμφανιστεί ξεθωριασμένη. Το ύψος των κορυφών σχετίζεται με τις πληροφορίες χρώματος. Όσο περισσότερο είναι ένα χρώμα, τόσο ψηλότερη θα είναι και η κορυφή.
