Скоростта на затвора характеризира продължителността от
време, за което затворът се отваря и затваря, и е важен фактор
за яркостта на снимката, тъй като управлява количеството
светлина, което преминава през блендата преди да стигне до
сензора на изображението.
Обикновено скоростта на затвора се настройва ръчно.
Измерването на скоростта на затвора е познато като “Стойност на
експонация” (EV), която се обозначава в интервали от 1 сек.,
1/2 сек., 1/4 сек., 1/8 сек., 1/15 сек., 1/1000 сек., 1/2000 сек. и т.н.
