•Je-li nastaven barevný prostor Adobe RGB, název souboru pořízeného snímku má formát _SAMXXXX.JPG.

•Tuto funkci lze vybrat přímo stisknutím tlačítka [Fn] na fotoaparátu v režimu snímání.

Obrazová vstupní a výstupní zařízení, například digitální fotoaparáty, monitory a tiskárny, podporují různé rozsahy reprodukování jednotlivých barev.

Dosažitelný rozsah barevné reprodukce se nazývá barevný prostor. Jednotlivá zařízení podporují několik standardů barevného prostoru. Tento fotoaparát podporuje barevné prostory sRGB a Adobe RGB. Barevný prostor sRGB se používá v různých zařízeních, například v počítači.

Pro běžné snímky se doporučuje použít barevný prostor sRGB.

sRGB je mezinárodním standardem pro barevný prostor, který byl stanoven organizaci IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission, Mezinárodní elektrotechnická komise). Je pomocí něj definován barevný prostor monitoru počítače a představuje také standardní barevný prostor pro formát Exif.

Adobe RGB je barevný prostor doporučovaný společností Adobe Systems, Inc. pro komerční tisk, který má širší

rozsah reprodukce barev než barevný prostor sRGB. Barevný prostor Adobe RGB pokrývá většinu barevného rozsahu, tudíž při úpravě snímků v počítači nedochází ke ztrátě barev, které jsou dosažitelné pouze tiskem. Je-li snímek otevřen v nekompatibilním softwaru, barvy se zdají být světlejší.
