Miten aukkoarvo, suljinnopeus ja ISO- herkkyys säätävät valotuksen

Aukkoarvo, suljinnopeus ja ISO-herkkyys liittyvät valokuvauksessa läheisesti toisiinsa. Aukkoarvo säätää aukkoa, joka määrää kameraan tulevan valon määrän, kun taas suljinnopeus määrää, kauanko valoa pääsee virtaamaan sisään. ISO-herkkyys määrittää, miten nopeasti filmi reagoi valoon. Nämä kolme muodostavat yhdessä valotuskolmion.

Suljinnopeuden, aukkoarvon tai ISO-herkkyyden muutos voidaan kumota säätämällä muuta kahta asetusta siten, että saadaan saman verran valoa. Tulokset kuitenkin riippuvat asetuksista.
